Athens City Hotel

Room was clean with fresh linen and built-in amenities. The rooftop terrace provided a nice view after a day of hustling through the city.

The shower's water pressure was a bit too low. The bathroom had a curtain setup that didn't do much to keep water in, leading to a wet floor. Plus, the location while not terrible, isn't exactly in the heart of things. It takes a decent 10-15 minute walk to get to the metro, and the area feels a tad sketchy at night. Breakfast could really use more variety. Many guests pointed out the lack of options like bacon or scrambled eggs. And, the inflexible key policy was puzzling-it seems odd to leave your key at the front desk when you head out.

The property was simple with exceptionally nice staff in the same staff member, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The double room I stayed in was spotless with a comfy bed. The location was good and perfect - just a walk down to everywhere I wanted to go. Bakery Paul located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The staff was very helpfull to find your way in Athens wherever you want to go to. The helped me find a workshop to deal with an engine problem.Excellent service. It,s my second stay in this hotel.

Rooftop terrace views, proximity to public transport, local supermarkets nearby

Water pressure in the shower is frustratingly low!!! The neighborhood feels a bit sketchy at night, unsettling!!!

Hotelul este amplasat la doar 20 de minute de centru si exact din fata acestuia se poate lua un autobuz direct spre obiectivele de interes turistic. Un raport excelent calitate pret.

Recently renovated and well-designed rooms come with a balcony and a comfy bed plus fresh towels. The interior is modern and design is nice! It has knowledgeable and excellent staff and excellent services.

The room was very nice and the bathroom was very big.

The whole setting of the hotel was dark and gloomy. We were told breakfast was served at 8:15 am, our taxi was to pick us up at 8:45 am, so we came down at 8:10 am. It wasn't ready until 8:30 am, after I asked and explained that they reserved our taxi for 8:45 am.

Just a great match for a walk in the evening in Athens with the best value. Wifi worked well and kept me connected while I was out exploring the city. Bring your own snacks if you're not a fan of the breakfast options.

Hotel administration was really great and friendly! The area is not as bad as it is described in other reviews, though it might be uncomfortable and a bit scary at night for a single ladies.

The hotel staff were cute. The rooms were spacious and clean, with easy access to nearby public transport and a lovely coffee shop just across the street.

Really nice, modern, comfortably designed room. The personel was helpfull. The location is also nice but a bit out of the historical center. But very accesable by bus. The breakfast was nice.

Wifi was only available in the lobby. The small elevator could use some cleaning.
